Martyn is a versatile trombonist based in Birmingham.
His performances have taken him to Carnegie Hall, The Lincoln Center, Teatro La Fenice, The Palace of Versailles, The Concertgebouw and with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Marin Alsop and Paul McCreesh.
His festival appearances include BBC Proms, Salzburg Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, Musikfest Berlin, White Light Festival (New York), Saintes Festival, Brighton Early Music Festival.
